Authentic Campo del Cielo meteorite, made into a pendant. Beautifully packaged in a wooden treasure chest box and a velvet jewelry bag.
Campo del Cielo iron meteorite formed approximately 4.5 billion years ago.
The meteorite broke apart in the atmosphere and fell in the Chaco and Santiago del Estero Provinces of Argentina. Radiocarbon dating of charred trees near the crater field placed the impact at around 2500 BC. Oral history of indigenous groups describes an object fallingfrom the sky and igniting massive forest fires.
