Apothecary Candle - "Remedy" - Dandelion, Pear

The Sick are Made Well again with a specialty remedy! Step right up and cure your bodily humors! Headaches, hysteria, disturbed sleep, and want of strength and energy will plague you no more!

‘Remedy’ comes from the Latin remedium, a cure, remedy, medicine, antidote, or that which restores health, and the French remedie, a cure for a disease or disorder; means of counteracting an evil. The Remedy candle features rich floral accords, slightly bitter aroma of dandelion and cannabis blooms, and is rounded out with notes of tart, fresh pear. This transportive scent is poured into vintage green glass.

The Apothecary is a line of candles inspired by patent medicines of the 1800s. Without having any proof to their claims, charlatans and faux “doctors” were able to travel from town to town selling their snake oils, nostrums, and miracle cure-alls. These candles’ “miracle claims” are made in jest only.
