This multi-functional waiter's knife's handle is inlaid with fossilized mammoth tooth in rich shades of golden-brown, accented by mother-of-pearl stripes. The back is inlaid with Danish birch. The blades are made with high-quality steel.
Mammoths were large, elephant-like mammals that lived during the Ice Age. They roamed across North America, Europe, Asia, and Africa, thriving in cold, grassy environments. The most well-known species, the woolly mammoth, had long curved tusks and a thick coat to survive harsh climates. Most mammoths went extinct about 10,000 years ago, though small populations survived until around 4,000 years ago.
